Entity and Companion Concept
Designer: Igal Shenderey (Israel) – Master in Transportation Design
The project presents two AAI (autonomous artificial intelligence) vehicles, and a background context centered around a young family.
Entity is a family car that offers its passengers an enhanced long-distance travel experience, with a large glazed area and a “sky dome” with an oculus glass roof.
When the couple has their first baby, they can get the Companion AAI vehicle, which is designed for children aged 0-9.
The Companion is a baby stroller-sized, that can fit with another Companion in the interior of the Entity car.
Morphing Arena Concept
Design Team: Giovanni Bulgarelli (Italy), Yanyi Song (China) – Master in Transportation Design
Morphing Arena explores a future scenario with fully autonomous vehicle, where people will not be driving anymore, and all occupants will be just passengers.
In order to meet all the needs of its passengers the interior can change its shape, thanks to a wise material strategy, which is inspired from the roman Arena, a polymorphic building that can be used for many different purposes.
The result is a space that occupants can live in complete freedom: they can have a social experience or travel in full privacy.
A-Craft Concept
Design Team: Kaihang Huang (China) – Master in Transportation Design, Salvatore Ville (Italy) – Bachelor in Transportation Design
The A-Craft is a concept that explores the relationship between mobility and interior functionality targeting a future generation of travelers who care about emotional and sensorial experiences.
The vehicle has three sections for different contexts and passengers’ requirements: a Private space, a Semi-public space and a Public space.
The floating center element – called “Pinin Brdige” – can display 3D holographic maps that offer a new way of getting information on the visited areas.
Additional features include seats with electromagnetic levitation and a flexible floor for storage of goods.
InsideOut Concept
Design Team: Niccolò Bonanni, Andrea Randine (Italy) – Bachelor in Transportation Design
InsideOut is a vehicle conceived for a future where people have very little free time, and aims at offering its occupants a relaxing place, supporting the users’ needs through the introduction of sensorial inputs.
The interior will change the inputs on the bases of user’s conditions, so that they can feel better in any situation.
The variety of combination of sensorial inputs allows the vehicle to adapt to many different situations – work, holiday, travel – and type of users.
