The Daily News, 15 May 2010.

Abstract/Summary

With the jot of a stylus across an electronic drawing pad, Tavis Highlander can take a new Camaro from stock to state-of-the-art in a matter of minutes.

Highlander (his first name is pronounced TAY-vis) uses his artistic skills in Highlander Concept Rendering, a business he started in 2006 on the Internet. He designs concept cars and other automotive-related items for companies like Hot Rod and Camaro Performers magazines, Hasbro, Chrysler and Pirelli Tires.

A native of Sequim, the 25-year-old ended up in Longview after he graduated from Western Washington University in 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in industrial design.
