Honda Insight: first image

Honda has released the first photograph of the production version of the Insight hybrid, which will make its its world debut at the next Detroit Motor Show and will be launched in spring 2009.


This US version of Honda’s five-passenger, five-door family hybrid will go on sale in spring 2009.

Among the main differences with the Insight Concept presented at the Paris Motor Show are the conventional front headlights that have replaced the hi-tech LEDs units.

Honda aims to sell 200,000 Insights globally, per year. The hatchback will be the first of a new family of Honda hybrids, followed by a production version of the CR-Z concept sportscar, and a Jazz hybrid .
