UID Pininfarina Casa Concept - Design Panel

The Pininfarina Casa envisions a future where vehicles are usually provided with renting and sharing services service, and private ownership of cars has become a luxury.

In this context, the design team explored the idea of creating a long-lasting vehicle which is perceived more like a house (“Casa” mean house/home in Italian) or a timeless object like a luxury watch.

The concept has a minimalistic design and – like an empty house – offers an empty, flexible interior space that can be used in many different ways, with flexible layouts enabled by a magnetic system integrated in the flat floor.

Design Team: Kishenkumar Patel (India), Martin Engberg (Denmark), Raul Salas (Mexico), ViljamiRŠisŠnen (Finland), Siddharth Hirwani (India)

Dualità is an autonomous car designed as part of a premium service that also includes a luxurious apartment in the Pininfarina Tower.

Targeted to successful business people who need to work for short periods of time in hectic urban environments like Hong Kong, the vehicle offers a place where passenger can relax after work, and once arrived at destination, it docks to the tower, extending the apartment living space by becoming a balcony.

Pininfarina Galleria Concept

Design Team: Ben Lee (Canada), Moritz Seifert (Germany), Karl Marteliusson (Sweden), Akansha Aggarwal (India)

Created for an exclusive rental service, the Galleria Concept is a fully autonomous vehicle that offers its passengers an exclusive and unique way of experiencing art.

Each individual interior is developed in collaboration with different museums, artists, designers or architects, and provides a small, private “art gallery”.

Pininfarina X Concept

Design by: SiyuanFang, Xingyu Yang (China), Dominique Quinger (Germany), Aylin Alpay (Turkey)

UID Pininfarina X Concept - Design Panel

The Pininfarina X Concept is an autonomous vehicle that is developed in collaboration with premium brands to offer their customers an exclusive, personalized traveling experience.

This particular formula combines Pininfarina’s crafting value and tradition with an innovative approach compatible with a scenario of urban mobility dominated by rental services.

For the project, the design team took into consideration three different premium brands – the X in the logo represents all the different possibilities – a fashion brand that wants to create a privileged experience for their customers; a famous restaurant which wants their guests to enjoy the best food in town accompanied with the most beautiful views and routes of the city; an airline company which wants to offer their VIP guests top level services, such as door to door transportation, checking in on the go, recovering from jet-lag.
