The Aston Martin DBC Concept is a study of mid-rear engined sportscar featuring a clean, muscular look based on the brand’s design language. The author is designer Samir Sadikhov.

After the Bulldog GT project presented by Danish company HBH in 2011, designer Samir Sadikhov from Azerbaijan proposes his vision for a modern mid-engined Aston Martin.

The DBC has clean surfaces that combine the trademark Aston Martin’s styling cues – including the front grille and side strakes – with a muscular stance, enhanced by the bold fenders and shoulders and the wavy waist-line.

The study is characterized by well balanced proportions and a “production-ready” look, which is the result of the author’s goal of creating a feasible concept.

Among the previous projects by Samir are the Incepto Concept and the Ferrari Xezri Concept, that won the 2nd place at the Ferrari World Design Contest in 2011.

About the Designer

Samir Sadikhov is a 22 years old designer from Azerbaijan. He graduated from Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin, and won the 2nd place at the Ferrari World Design Contest 2011 with his Ferrari Xezri Concept.
