The BMW MZ8 Concept was designed by design graduate Christophe Jourd’hui in team with digital modeler Benjamin Baron during an internship at BMW Design.
The concept is a spider inspired by the Z8 and the 8-Series that offers a modern interpretation of the Motorsport philosophy and focuses on sportiness and driving sensations.
As the designer explains, “I wanted to express a strong emotion because today it is important to still dream on the car market.”
At the front the trademark kidneys have a new shape which extends to the hood surface giving a stronger character to the car. The light identity is specific with a Z signature on the rear end.
The MZ8 is powered by a rear mid-engine (V8 4,4L biturbo delivering 600 HP).
