Webinar: Alias SpeedForm for conceptual 3D modeling

Webinar: Alias SpeedForm for conceptual 3D modeling

A three-part webinar demonstrating different conceptual modeling techniques using Alias SpeedForm, the new 3D modeling software by Autodesk.

The webinar was presented by Robin OldRoyd, Senior Technical Specialist at Autodesk, and was published in the past days by “Autodesk Alias Guy”, a YouTube channel run by Daniel Wright, Autodesk Technical Specialist in Alias and SpeedForm.

Alias SpeedForm is a new modeling software focused on ease of use and created to help designers to quickly generate and explore ideas and variations in the early stages of development.

It offers different modeling workflows – polygonal and NURBS modeling – within the same environment to take advantage of each technique.

The integration between the workflows is enabled by the T-Splines technology, which was acquired by Autodesk in 2011, and that has been since then integrated in products such as SpeedForm and Fusion 360.
